The third and final Informed Citizen Akron deliberation event has concluded!
From September 22nd-24th, citizens of Summit County/Akron Area joined together to answer the question, “what role(s) or niche(s) might Ohio media ocupy in order to better serve our comunities across Ohio now and into the future?”
Looking at all the tools that had been discussed in Informed Citizen Akron 1 & 2, they each fit into one (or more) of three frames:
- Accountability Journalism
- Citizen-Led Journalism
- Social Journalism
While each of the frames had particular value, one was by far the most interesting to jurors.
